Our tour representative will meet you at the airport or railway station and assist you towards your pre-booked hotel. Complete the check in formalities and unwind. On the 11th day of the tour, wake up to a hearty meal and leave for a sightseeing tour to Udaipur. Renowned as ‘the City of Lakes’, Udaipur is a culturally rich city. The architectural marvels of the city showcase the imperial Rajput era and take one back to the glorious past. This beautiful city is also referred to as ‘Venice of the East’. The place has a number of historical monuments, palaces, and forts which are there in remembrance of Maharana Udai Singh II who founded the city. During the sightseeing tour of Udaipur, you will visit the City Palace, which was built over a period of nearly 400 years, with contributions from several rulers of the Mewar dynasty. Situated on the bank of Lake Pichola, City Palace is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. You can enjoy a boat ride here and explore the majestic beauty of the palace. Also visit Jagdish Temple, which is situated in the City Palace complex. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Offer prayers at the temple and then head towards Jag Mandir, which is built on an island in Lake Pichola. This lake garden palace used to be the summer resort for organizing parties by the royals.
