North India with Nepal and Tibet, a tour package of 29 nights and 30 days, offers you a chance to explore the northern region of India, along with well-known destinations of Nepal and Tibet.
During the itinerary, you enjoy sightseeing and other activities at places like Delhi, Mandawa, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Jaipur, Agra, Khajuraho, Varanasi, Kathmandu, Pokhara, Lhasa etc.

Late evening arrival in Delhi. Meet an IHPL representative who helps you with an assisted transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Overnight in Delhi.
All of day 2 is for sightseeing in Delhi where you cover the major attractions of Old and New Delhi. Visit Laxmi Narayan Temple, India Gate, Parliament House, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Gandhi memorial, Qutab Minar Complex and Humayun's Tomb. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 3 of the tour is at leisure. You can indulge in the activities of your interest- interact with the locals, shop at the well-known markets, gorge on popular street food, visit the remaining attractions. Stay Overnight.
Today, after breakfast, begin driving towards Mandawa – a town lying in the triangular area between Delhi, Jaipur and Bikaner. On reaching, check- in your hotel. The evening is scheduled for a visit to the painted Havelis of the Shekhawati area. They are many times referred to as one of the Seven Wonders of India. This is followed by 1- hour camel ride. Stay overnight.
Have your breakfast on the 5th day of the tour and by road depart to Bikaner. On arriving, complete the check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel. Later, leave for exploring the Junagarh Fort, formerly known as Chintamani. Once inside, explore it structural elements like Anup Mahal, Karan Mahal and Phool Mahal. Stay overnight.
After breakfast, hit the road to Jaisalmer, located in the heart of the Thar, the Great Indian Desert. On arrival, complete the check- in formalities at your hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities- explore the surroundings on foot, relish the local delicacies, visit the popular markets etc. Stay Overnight in Jaisalmer.
Have breakfast and leave for a city tour. Visit Jaisalmer Fort, locally known as Sonar Quila, it is built on the highest point of the Trikuta Hill. Once inside, explore Megh Durbar and other temples. Later, visit Patwon-Ki-Haveli and Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli – two of the most beautiful Havelis (mansions) with intricate stone carving and delicate latticework. The evening is scheduled for a camel ride by the sand dunes to view the sunset. Stay overnight.
On the 8th day of the tour, after breakfast, leave for Jodhpur by road. On reaching, complete the check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel. Later, leave for sightseeing including Mehrangarh fort – perched 400 feet above the city, it is one of the largest forts in India, Jaswant Thada - a white marble memorial built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II by Sardar Singh and Clock tower - built by Maharaja Sardar Singh. Night stay in Jodhpur.
Have breakfast on day 9 and hit the road to Udaipur. On the way, visit the extremely popular Ranakpur temples – an important religious site for the followers of Jainism. On arrival, check-in at your hotel. In the evening, stroll around Udaipur's bazaars and shop for souvenirs. Stay overnight.
Day 10 is scheduled for sightseeing in Udaipur. Visit Saheliyon-Ki-Bari - the Courtyard for the Queen's maids of honor, Jagdish temple – formerly known as the temple of Jagganth Rai, it is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the City Palace - located on the eastern banks of Lake Pichola, it was erected by Maharana Udai Singh as the capital of the Sisodia Rajput clan and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk Art Museum). In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola. Stay Overnight.
In the morning, leave for Deogarh to explore the Deogarh fort. On arrival, check-in at your pre-booked hotels. Later, leave for visiting the fort. Built during the 17th century, this palace is well-known for its ornate murals, gateways, Jharokhas and domes. Later visit the Jain temples with carvings depicting Jain mythology and Tirthankara images. Stay overnight in Deogarh.
On the 12th day of the tour, have breakfast and depart by road for Chhatra Sagar (Nimaj). On reaching, check-in at your luxury tent accommodation. Newly developed destination, Chhatra Sagar, is a location with tented camps, on the banks of a dam, around 3 hours from the north of Deogarh. Enjoy Sunset from the dam's terrace. Dinner and Overnight at Chhatra Sagar.
Have breakfast and leave for Jaipur by road. Once you reach Jaipur, complete the check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities- explore the surroundings on foot, relish the local delicacies, shop at Jaipur's popular markets etc. Stay overnight in Jaipur.
On day 14, post breakfast, leave for an excursion to Amer Fort, situated on a hilltop. To go up to the entrance of the fort, enjoy an elephant ride. After lunch, continue with the sightseeing covering the City Palace – erected by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, it is a mix of Rajput, Mughal and European styles of architecture. The next visit is to the Royal Observatory. Spend the evening shopping at the local bazaars. Stay overnight.
After breakfast, begin driving to Agra. On the way, explore Fatehpur Sikri – the old deserted capital of Mughal Dynasty. Once inside, visit its various structural elements such as Jama Masjid, Buland Darwaza, Palace of Jodha Bai, Birbal Bhawan and Panch Mahal. On arrival in Agra, check-in at your pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities. Visit the local market to taste the popular local renditions of Dalmoth and Petha. Stay overnight.
Day 16 is for a morning visit to the Taj Mahal - a white- marble mausoleum, commissioned by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Next in line is a visit to the Agra Fort, also known as Red Fort - a Mughal architectural masterpiece. Do not miss the Itmad-ud-daulah's Tomb – fondly known as Baby Taj. Overnight in Agra.
After breakfast, get transferred to the railway station to board a train for Jhansi. On reaching, get an assisted transfer to the medieval town of Orchha, which was once the capital of the Bundela rulers. Check-in your hotel. Founded along the banks of the river Betwa, it houses numerous places of interest including Jahangiri Mahal- built by Raja Bir Singh Deo in the memory of Mughal Emperor Jahangir, Raj Mahal and Laxmi Narayan temple- both famous for their fine frescoes and mural paintings. Overnight in Orchha.
Have breakfast on day 18 and begin driving to Khajuraho. On arrival, complete the check -in formalities at your hotel. Later, leave for visiting Eastern and Western group of temples- a UNESCO World heritage Site. Explore the popular Laxmi & Varha temples, Kandariya Mahadev, Devi Jagdamba temples etc. These temples, constructed during the reign of Chandela rulers, are known for their erotic carvings. Overnight in Khajuraho.
Day 19 of the tour is again booked for a visit to the temple site. Later, get transferred to the airport to board a flight to Varanasi. On reaching, complete the check-in formalities at your hotel. The evening is at leisure. Stay overnight.
Enjoy an early morning boat ride, along the western ghats of Ganges. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Post breakfast, take a stroll along the bathing Ghats. Visit Tulsi Manas temple, Alamgir mosque, Bharat Mata temple etc. Post lunch, leave for an excursion to Sarnath – a Buddhist site. Visit the well-known deer park, a place where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Return to Varanasi for an overnight stay.
Today, get an on-time transfer to the airport to board a flight to Kathmandu. On arrival, meet an IHPL representative who helps with an assisted transfer to Chitwan National Park. On arrival, check-in at the jungle resort. The rest of the day is free to indulge in leisure activities such as a nature walk, village visiting etc. Stay overnight.
Have breakfast on day 22 and participate in jungle activities at the park such as nature walk, bird watching and village visiting. Embark on an elephant safari to explore wildlife at the UNESCO World Heritage Site. This park is home to a good population of single-horned Asiatic rhinoceros, Gharial Crocodile and the Bengal tiger. In the evening, enjoy traditional Tharu cultural performance. Stay overnight.
In the morning, begin driving to Pokhara. On arrival, complete the check- in formalities at your hotel. The afternoon is free to stroll around the lakeside. If you want, you can interact with the locals, admire the surrounding scenery or relish local delicacies. Stay overnight.
Today, enjoy an hour's boat ride at the Phewa Lake, a fresh water lake. Later, visit the Barahi Temple, situated in the middle of the lake. Back to the hotel for breakfast. Leave for a trip to Sarangkot, also known as Sarankot. Explore the village on foot, visit the traditional houses of the local inhabitants and interact with them. Enjoy an amazing view of the Annapurna range. Back to Pokhara for an overnight stay.
Have breakfast on day 25 and begin driving to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, check- in at your pre-booked hotel. The afternoon is for a city tour of Kathmandu. Cover Bhaktapur Durbar Square- a UNESCO World Heritage Site housing numerous Hindu temples and museums, the well-known Pashupatinath temple – dedicated to Lord Shiva and Boudhnath Stupa – an ancient Stupa, one of the largest ones in the world. Stay overnight.
Have breakfast on day 22 and participate in jungle activities at the park such as nature walk, bird watching and village visiting. Embark on an elephant safari to explore wildlife at the UNESCO World Heritage Site. This park is home to a good population of single-horned Asiatic rhinoceros, Gharial Crocodile and the Bengal tiger. In the morning, get on-time transfer to the airport to board a flight to Lhasa. On arrival, get transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is for acclimatization. Stay overnight.
Day 28 is for sightseeing of Potala Palace - the chief residence of the Dalai Lama till the 14th Dalai Lama, Sera Monastery - one of the "Great Three" Gelukpa university monasteries in Tibet, the other two being Ganden and Drepung Monasteries and lastly, Norbulinka Palace- summer palace of Dalai Lama. Stay overnight.
All of day 29 is for sightseeing of Lhasa, including,Drepung Monastery - established in 1416, one of the most important monasteries in Tibet and Jokhang Monastery- also known as Qokang Monastery, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The last visit of the day is Barkhor Market. Take a stroll and shop for souvenirs. Stay overnight in Lhasa.
Today morning, get transferred to the airport to board a flight to Kathmandu. From the Kathmandu airport, board a flight back to Delhi. On arrival, board another flight for your onward journey. (No Accommodation in Delhi).
